Jamyang Buddhist Centre is aligned to the Foundation and Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), the Tibetan arm of the Mahayana Buddhism. I have been to a few FPMT aligned monasteries in India, hence my interest in visiting and learning from the monks in London itself.
Book Notes: The World of Tibetan Buddhism
Dalai Lama delivered this training in London in 1982 over a period of 2 day split into 3 sessions. This is a great book and a very concise introduction to Tibetan Buddhism. Again it doesn’t go down into a lot of detail but certain topics are quiet intense.
